National Bank Issues Warning about a Phishing Scam Targeting its Customers
The St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited is warning customers about a Phishing Scam that has been circulating via email and text messages, targeting account holders.
The bank says the fraudulent messages claim that a customer’s account has been placed on hold due to unusual activity and ask the recipient to click on a link to restore access.
However, the bank is urging the public to note that these messages are fake and not from the institution.
Customers are strongly advised not to click on any links or share personal, banking or login information, as these scams are designed to steal sensitive data.
The St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank is encouraging anyone who receives suspicious messages to report them immediately by calling 869-465-2204.
The bank says protecting customers’ financial information remains a top priority and it is actively working with the relevant authorities to stop these fraudulent activities.
Once again, customers are reminded to stay alert, stay cautious and never share their banking information through text or email.
