Nevis Bus Association Push for Designated Terminal to Ease Commuter Challenges
Efforts to construct a Bus Terminal in Charlestown have come to the fore as Members of the Nevis Bus Association is calling on the assistance of the government to consider this matter as high priority. The VON NEWSLINE spoke with Acting President of the association, Mr. Elmo Grant alias ‘Bombo’ who told us more:
Mr. Grant emphasized the ongoing efforts to gather public support through a signature drive. The Association says both drivers and passengers have long been inconvenienced due to lack of dedicated space for buses on the island. He further explained the proposed location and benefits:

According to the Association, they are hopeful that once the petition is submitted to the Ministry, their long-standing call for a proper terminal will finally be addressed.
