Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting incident that occurred at Maddens Estate, Nevis, on Wednesday Nov. 26^th.

A press release said the incident took place between 8 PM and 8:30 PM. Based on the circumstances, Vance Thomas and Peter D’Aguiar were in the yard of their residence when an unknown assailant or assailants approached and opened fire. Both men sustained gunshot injuries and were transported to the Alexandra Hospital, where they are currently warded on the surgical ward in stable condition.

The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. Investigations are ongoing.
