During the latest edition of the InFocus Programme, health officials shared that the private ward of the Joseph N. France General Hospital is set to be reopened soon following months of careful preparation and upgrades led by the facilities director.

It was shared that beyond increasing the number of available rooms, the private ward restores a crucial source of revenue for the nation’s healthcare system. With private services back in operation, the Ministry of Finance would be able to again recover some of the costs spent on public healthcare.
