King Drewzy Reigns Supreme with Back-to-Back Calypso Monarch Win

King Drewzy has once again proven his dominance on the calypso stage, securing a back-to-back victory at the Carib Senior Calypso Monarch Finals with an impressive 769 points. The electrifying competition saw King Socrates claim second place with 752 points, while Queen Independent captured third with 722 points, highlighting the high caliber of talent in the federation.

 

The other calypsonians who contended for the crown were, Big Lice, Dwighty, De Syder, King Astro, and Mighty Godfrey.

 

The finals, held at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium, were a powerful celebration of musical culture and lyrical excellence and also featured the calypso legend Lord Nelson from Trinidad and Tobago.
