That was the voice of Dr. Sirous Motevassel, Investor with Prime Development, speaking during opening remarks at the official groundbreaking of the Creative Arts Centre, a flagship project led by Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives and the Creative Economy, Hon. Samal Duggins on January 9^th, 2026.

Set to be the largest integrated creative hub in the Eastern Caribbean, the Centre represents a significant investment in the nation’s cultural and creative sectors.

Addressing stakeholders at the ceremony, Minister Duggins said:

The project is expected to generate employment during construction and ongoing operations while providing structured opportunities for creative professionals. Minister Duggins noted the Centre fulfills a long-standing personal commitment to the creative community.
