That was the voice of Dr. Sirous Motevassel, Investor with Prime Development, speaking during opening remarks at the official groundbreaking of the Creative Arts Centre, a flagship project led by Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship, Cooperatives and the Creative Economy, Hon. Samal Duggins on January 9th, 2026.
Set to be the largest integrated creative hub in the Eastern Caribbean, the Centre represents a significant investment in the nation’s cultural and creative sectors.
Addressing stakeholders at the ceremony, Minister Duggins said:
The project is expected to generate employment during construction and ongoing operations while providing structured opportunities for creative professionals. Minister Duggins noted the Centre fulfills a long-standing personal commitment to the creative community.
