One man has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) and will serve the remainder of his natural life for the offences of murder.
A police communique states: “Trevern Edwards of Stapleton, St. Peter’s, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison following his conviction for two counts of murder.”
He was convicted in connection with the murders of thirty Jesse Lee, 30, who was killed on November 18th 2021, and Arthur Ezekiel Henry also known as “Karate-Man”, 67, who was murdered on March 24th 2022. Lawmen confirmed that Edwards shot both men in their heads.
On Tuesday Jan. 20th 2026, according to the police, he “was sentenced to imprisonment for the remainder of his natural life for each offence, with no possibility of release.” His sentences are set to run as whole-life terms, which were handed down by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC. A whole-life term means Edwards will never be released from prison.
The Royal St. Christopher & Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) said in it “stands resolute in its mandate to protect life, uphold the rule of law, and pursue justice for victims and their families.”
