Saint Kitts and Nevis Condemns Middle East Attacks, Urges Restraint and Dialogue

The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has expressed “deep concern over the recent attacks in the Middle East,” reaffirming its commitment to “the principles of international peace, respect for territorial integrity, and the sanctity of human life,” according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Saint Kitts and Nevis emphasized its solidarity with “the Governments and people of the Gulf Cooperation States and others who have been affected by the current developments in the region,” offering condolences “for the loss of life and injury to persons, as well as damage to and loss of property.”

The Ministry called on “all parties to exercise restraint and to refrain from targeting innocent civilians and their property,” warning that such actions “only deepen suffering and hinder the path toward reconciliation.” It further urged stakeholders “to engage in constructive dialogue that will lead to lasting peace, in the interest of the people and for the benefit of the region,” underscoring that “diplomacy, mutual respect, and adherence to international law remain the only viable path to stability and security.”

The statement follows developments that occurred on February 28th, 2026, where the US and Israel launched attacks on Iranian sites, escalating a long-standing conflict over nuclear and military tensions. Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes on US bases some located in Gulf countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
