A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded north of St. Kitts on Monday afternoon Mar. 2nd.
That’s based on information from the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC).
The quake occurred at 2:07pm and was located at Latitude 17.92 degrees North and Longitude 62.89 degrees West, at depth of 55 km.
UWI-SRC said the epicenter was approximately 71 km, North-Northwest of St. Kitts, 146 kilometers Northwest of St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda and146 kilometers Northwest of Brades, Montserrat. No one in SKN reported feeling Monday’s quake.
