Two Bills receive first reading during Thursday’s National Assembly Sitting

A Sitting of the National Assembly will be held on Thursday April 30th at 10:30 a.m.

 

The Sitting will be held at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, St. Kitts. Two Bills will receive their first reading during the proceedings.

 

Prime Minister and Minister responsible for Finance, et.al, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time the Bill entitled Banking (Amendment) Bill, 2026.

 

Additionally, Attorney-General and Minister responsible for Justice and Legal Affairs, the Honourable Garth Wilkin, will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time the Bill entitled Evidence (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
