Musical icon ‘Chubby’ laid to rest on Wednesday

Sounds of the Kollision Band with lead singer, the late Jermaine “Chubby” Clarke.

 

 

Jermaine was the lead singer of the well-known Kollision Band in St. Kitts. The band became Road March Champions during Sugar Mas 2024 and 1st runner up in last year’s Sugar Mas Road March Competition and performed at the 2025 St. Kitts Music Festival.

 

 

Sadly, he was executed after a live performance on Sunday, April 5th, 2026 at Keys Village, St. Kitts.

 

 

Chubby’s final send-off took placeWednesday, May 20th, 2026, at the Warner Park Stadium where the musical icon’s family, friends, fans and well-wishers paid their last respects.

 

 

Many fans took to social media sharing their grief and disbelief after learning of the passing of the young entertainer. There were also tributes from Government officials, the St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Committee, local and regional artists and more.
