That was Nevis’ Senior Branch Manager of National Caribbean Insurance (NCI), Hazel Manners-David speaking on the company’s introduction of its new “NCI WellCare” Medical Card, aimed at simplifying the Health Insurance Claims process for policyholders in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The digital card will allow customers to simply swipe the card at a doctor’s office, pharmacies, labs and dental clinics effectively, eliminating the need for paper claims for transactions under EC$5,000.00.

The card is available to its clientele who are enrolled with NCI’s comprehensive medical plans from May 1^st, 2022 and onward. Service providers can instantly verify benefits, calculate patient payments and submit claims electronically, with payments processed within three working days.

Additionally, National Caribbean Insurance will have the official launch of its card collection scheduled for May 20^th and 21^st in St. Kitts and Nevis at both branches for eligible comprehensive medical plan members.
