A press release stated that a shift in wind conditions was causing smoke to spread across surrounding areas.

Persons who suffered from asthma, respiratory conditions, or any breathing difficulties were asked to stay indoors and close all windows and doors immediately, create a Clean Room — Seal off a central room in their home, and if available, use an air purifier, keep inhalers at hand, no cigarette smoke, and no frying until the advisory was lifted.
