The Integrity Commissions of Saint Kitts and Nevis have reaffirmed their commitment to transparency and accountability following their participation in the 12th Annual Commonwealth Caribbean Association of Integrity Commissions and Anti-Corruption Bodies (CCAICACB) Conference in Kingston, Jamaica, from June 1st to 5th, 2026.
Held under the theme, “Strengthening Regional Integrity Efforts and Anti-Corruption Mechanisms in an Evolving Global Environment,” the conference brought together commissioners, regional partners and international observers to address emerging governance challenges and strengthen anti-corruption frameworks across the Caribbean.
Representing Saint Kitts and Nevis were Chairperson of the Saint Kitts Integrity Commission, Justice (Ret’d) Pearletta Lanns, Deputy Chairperson of the St. Kitts Integrity Commission, Lisa Hazel-Claxton, Commissioner of the Integrity Commission (Nevis), George S. Newton, Treasurer of the CCAICACB, Albert Edwards, and Secretary of the CCAICACB, Ercia P. Blake.
The CCAICACB, which comprises 14 member countries represented by 17 integrity and anti-corruption entities, serves as a regional network dedicated to advancing transparency, accountability and good governance throughout the Commonwealth Caribbean.
According to the release, the delegation’s participation underscored the commissions’ commitment to “regional collaboration, institutional strengthening, and the promotion of transparency and accountability.”
