VON Radio, the Eastern Caribbean’s Powerhouse will be celebrating its 38^th anniversary on Thursday, June 18^th, 2026.

History was made on Nevis with the establishment of the island’s first radio station on June 18^th, 1988 by BVI Nevisian resident and Founder of Von Radio, the late Merritt Herbert.

VON Radio has provided exceptional service to the general public throughout the years and remains “the Caribbean’s Powerhouse” with its motto “ONLY the BEST will do!”

VON Radio continues to provide top news, daily advertisements, birthday greetings, health, financial, community and religious programs, death announcements and more, under the leadership of its General Manager, Mr. Evered “Webbo” Herbert.
