That was Prime Minister and Minister with responsibility for Social Security, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, speaking during his latest Roundtable discussion with the media about recent digital innovations. The Social Security Board (SSB) is set to launch SSB Connect, a new mobile application designed to give contributors easier access to their social security information from July 1st.

It forms part of the Board’s ongoing digital transformation, allowing users to create personal accounts and monitor their contributions. The platform will also enable members to track claims, access important information, and stay connected to their benefits anytime, anywhere.

Promotional material for the app describes SSB Connect as a smarter, faster, and more convenient way for contributors to manage their social security, with features including contribution tracking and benefit updates at the tap of a button.

The upcoming launch reflects the Social Security Board’s broader efforts to modernize its services and improve accessibility through technology.
