On Monday, June 29^th, 2026, the Nevis International Secondary School held its graduation ceremony at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (NEPAC).

The event chaired by the President of the Nevis Island Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Michelle Slack-Clarke, saw a total of nine graduates celebrating the milestone along with parents, well-wishers, teachers and other officials.

This year’s Valedictorian, Ms. Jahzara Davis-Nisbett, in her emotional and heartfelt address, reflected on this year’s theme: “Attitude Anchors all Aspirations”:

The title of the 2026 Salutatorian went to Ms. J’Rell Powell. Further, Alumnus and 2024 Salutatorian, Ms. Akaylah Hanley, was the featured speaker tasked with addressing the graduates. She advised them to “never underestimate the value of respect, humility, kindness and gratitude” admonishing them to treat people well:
