As the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) celebrates its 29th anniversary under the theme, “Service above Self: 29 Years of Safeguarding the Federation,” the organization highlighted significant investments aimed at strengthening the country’s maritime security during a recent media appearance.
Acting Commander, Major Kayode Sutton said the government has enhanced the Federation’s maritime surveillance capabilities with coastal radar systems to improve border monitoring and maritime domain awareness. Other plans were highlighted:
