It will be official in just a few hours, as the official staging of Culturama 2026 dubbed C52 will be held this evening at the NEDACS Cultural Complex. The event will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Culturama is a unique festival that is held annually during late July into early August. The festival represents Nevis’ culture and heritage through rhythm and dance, dramatization, distinctive poems, cultural attire, stories of yesterday, traditional dishes and more.

An invitation is extended to the entire public to attend the opening ceremony as it is promised to be something spectacular.

The VON NEWSLINE spoke to Festival Coordinator at the Culturama Secretariat, Swaine Evelyn who said that “he is quite excited and ready to give the public something different and exciting, it will not be the regular opening that everyone is used to”.

The Pre-Show will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the Official Show is expected to begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.

The theme for this year is “Our Heritage Proud and True: It’s Culturama 52”.
