The Embassy of Saint Kitts and Nevis in Taiwan welcomed a delegation from the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) on August 25^th, 2026. The visit comes as the organization is celebrating its 30^th anniversary.

SKN Ambassador, H.E., Donya L. Francis welcomed TaiwanICDF Secretary General, Dr. Yu-Lin Huang, along with directors and officials from several departments. The discussions centered ongoing TaiwanICDF initiatives in Saint Kitts and Nevis, as well as opportunities for expanded cooperation in support of the Federation’s Sustainable Island State Agenda (SISA).

The anniversary milestone added significance to the visit, as Ambassador Francis congratulated Dr. Huang and the TaiwanICDF team on three decades of service to development. He also recognised the organization’s sustained contributions to Saint Kitts and Nevis across multiple sectors.

Established in 1996 and headquartered in Taipei, TaiwanICDF works with governments and international organisations to advance social and economic development and promote environmentally sustainable development.

Its current projects in Saint Kitts and Nevis span green energy, water supply, mental health, recycling, agriculture, women’s economic empowerment and digital identity.

The Embassy said it looks forward to building on the partnership as TaiwanICDF enters its fourth decade.
