She shared those comments in an address issued on Monday, August 31st, 2026. It comes on the heels of Mrs. Grey-Brookes’ resignation as Leader of the People’s Action Movement (PAM) on Friday, July 31st, 2026.
Mrs. Brookes became the party’s first female Political Leader in 2024 and was the first female leader of a political party in St. Kitts. Her remarks came a day before PAM elected its new Leader at a special Caucus which was held on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026.
