As the nation awaits more updates on the health status of St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Terrence Drew, more well-wishes are pouring in for a speedy recovery.
“Prime Minister Drew is a valued colleague, a friend and our Caribbean brother. He and his family remain in our prayers, words from Barbados’ Prime Minister, Hon. Mia Amor Mottley.
Mottley continued “My thoughts are with our brothers and sisters in Saint Kitts and Nevis following the hospitalization of Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Terrance Drew and we wish him renewed strength, healing and a full recovery. May God hold him in his care. We look forward to seeing him well again”.
Words of heartfelt wishes also came from Director General of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission, Dr. Didacus Jules who expressed concern over the Prime Minister’s hospitalization. In a written statement, he extended his well-wishes to Dr. Drew, his family and the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Further, he stated “Our thoughts and prayers are with him at this time. We pray for God’s healing hand upon him and for wisdom and strength for the medical team caring for him. May Prime Minister Drew enjoy a swift and full recovery and return soon to good health and service”. The last update received indicate that Dr. Drew is currently receiving specialized medical observation abroad and remains in stable condition.
