25 Students Inducted into the Ward-Hanley Scholarship 2026 Cohort

25 young individuals were officially recognised and welcomed into the Ward- Hanley 2026 Cohort at an award ceremony held at the Antioch Baptist Church, St. Kitts, on Aug. 30th.

 

To mark its 25th anniversary, the scholarship was expanded to include 25 students in Forms 1 to 3 across the federation, offering both financial aid and mentorship.

 

The inducted scholars in this cohort included: Deshawne Campbell, Kayshon Blake, Cinese Webbe and Surii Davis from the Charles E. Mills Secondary School, T’Quan Francis and Kylie Fyfield from the Dr. Denzil Douglas Secondary School, Errol O’Loughlin Jr, Zadoiah Pennyfeather, Che’Niah Nias, Amelia Clarke-Isaac, and Tavianna Liddie who attend the Basseterre High School…. …

 

… …Jahvon Monzac and Kae’Den Dias of the Cayon High School, Naviska Richardson, Julecia Cromwell, Michela Woods, Lomiah Liburd, Samia Cornelius, Curnijah Buchanan, and Kaiemah Liburd, students of the Verchilds High School,  Chaeton Sturge, Kateva Warren, Kenyah Robin, Adriana McKenzie, and Jediah Matthew of the Washington Archibald High School.

 

Named after the St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association’s (SKNYPA) founders, Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley and Mr. Desmond Eli Ward, this scholarship was established in 2020 to assist students in navigating the challenges of transitioning to high school.
