Nevis’ Chair of the CoVID-19 Task Force, Dr. Judy Nisbett, has provided information about the groups of people that can spread the Coronavirus (CoVID-19), as health officials here in St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN) continue in their fight against the virus.

As at Wednesday June 17th, there were over 8.3 million cases of the Coronavirus globally, 448,626 deaths and over 4.3 million recovered cases.
SKN has 15 confirmed cases of the virus, with all 15 recovered, zero active cases and zero deaths.
CoVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Symptoms include: Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose etc.
If someone is showing any of the following signs, you should seek emergency medical care immediately: Trouble breathing, Persistent pain or pressure in the chest, New confusion, Inability to wake or stay awake and Bluish lips or face, according to cdc.gov.
