The hospitality sector in the Federation has experienced the worse financial impact, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic since the borders were closed on Wednesday, March 25^th, 2020.

During his monthly Press Conference on Thursday, August 27^th, Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley, reiterated a harsh reality that many persons who were laid off or severed as a result of the pandemic face:
