343 COVID-19 tests conducted so far, says Nevis’ COVID-19 Task Force Chair

While the world continues to fight against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, local health authorities here in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN) continue to record successes surrounding the pandemic.

 

As of Tuesday, September 15th, there were over 29.6 million cases of the virus worldwide, which includes 21.4 million recoveries, over 936,000 deaths and over 7.2 million active cases.

 

With the respect to the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Federation, there are 17: 13 in St. Kitts, 4 here on Nevis and all have recovered.

 

There are no active cases of the virus in SKN or deaths recorded.

 

St. Kitts recorded its 17th case on July 10th 2020, the island of Nevis has not recorded any new cases of the virus, since April 6th 2020.

 

However, testing continues here in SKN and Chair of Nevis’ COVID-19 Task Force, Dr. Judy Nisbett, mentioned the number of persons tested so far.
