Almost 20 persons now certified to care for Elderly

Following a twelve-week training course focused on theoretical and practical skills, almost twenty (20) persons in St. Kitts have been officially certified to provide professional and compassionate care to the elderly in the federation.

 

 

 

The course was facilitated by the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) along with the partnership of the Skills Training Empowerment Programme (STEP). The official handing over of certificates was done on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 at the Solid Waste Conference Room in St. Kitts.

 

 

 

Present at the proceedings was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Development et.al, Hon. Geoffrey Hanley. Minister Hanley was quoted as saying: “Thursday was indeed a very special day as we recognized all those who successfully passed the 2022 CFBC Elderly Care Course. It is with pleasure that I say congratulations to all and look forward to working with you”.
