Parliamentary Representative for Constituency Number 5 (St. Thomas’ Parish), Hon. Cleone Stapleton-Simmonds has announced her intentions to take the views and suggestions of her constituents during walk-throughs in the various villages.

This comes during the anticipation of Budget Debates in the Nevis Island Assembly in the near future. The honorable member said that the walk throughs are intended to get a general understanding of the needs of the residents of St. Thomas’, to provide strong representation in the house which she in turn hopes yields a budget which provides for the needs of Constituency 5.

She also mentioned projects that needed attention in the communities such as the main road in Cotton Ground and the need for better lighting and recreational facilities.
