Asphalt Plant on Nevis damaged by fire, NIA has plans to reconstruct bypass road
The island of Nevis recorded an unfortunate incident a little over five weeks ago, which has limited the Nevis Island Administration (NIA’s) ability to get the asphalt that they need.
Nevis’ Premier, Hon. Mark Brantley explains:
Premier Brantley called on the public to be patient as the NIA is “still in the process of repairing the asphalt plant.” In the interim, the Bypass Road (which extends from Delta Petroleum, located at Pump Road, to the intersection outside of the Artisan Village, at Pinney’s Industrial Site), is in dire need of repair. What does the Government have in the pipeline, regarding this road?
