Aug. 5th Elections: claims and accusations mount as date draws nigh

As the General Elections date draw closer, which some have dubbed as “Liberation Day”, the exchanges between the political parties continue.

Leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM), during a recent edition of the “On the Mark show” disclosed that an investigation into a Unit that Dr. Janice Daniel-Hodge headed while working for the USVI Government was conducted, in relation to a “white collar crime.” CCM’s Leader is the Hon. Mark Brantley.

Coastal Zone Management Unit was established to manage, enhance, protect, and preserve the coastal resources of the USVI, while reducing conflict between competing land and water uses. However, NRP’s (Nevis Reformation Party) Leader Dr. Janice Daniel-Hodge said CCM is engaged in a smear campaign.

The two leaders are vying for seats in the Aug. 5th General Elections in St. Kitts & Nevis.
