An autopsy was performed on the body of SKN’s 23^rd homicide victim for 2023, on Thursday Octover 12^th.

Ibol Tyson, 37, of Low Street, Nevis, was gunned down on Tuesday October 10^th, in Craddock Road, Nevis.

Lawmen responded to the scene and found him seated motionless in his car having received reports of gunshots being heard in the above-mentioned area.

A press release indicated that Tyson was accosted by armed assailant(s) and shot multiple times while driving down Craddock Road around 8am. Mr. Tyson’s subsequent loss of vehicular control caused him to collide with a tree on the side of the road, bringing his vehicle to a stop. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Resident Pathologist – Dr. Adrian Nuñez concluded that death was caused by severe traumatic injury of the brainstem from a single gunshot wound to the right side of his face.
