Autopsy reveals cause of death for SKN’s 10th murder victim

An autopsy was performed on the body of Shakel Campbell of Craddock Road, Nevis, on Tuesday May 9th, almost one week after his death.

The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was due to hypovolemic shock due to multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and back.

Campbell was gunned down on Wednesday May 3rd. Lawmen say they responded to a report of gunshots being heard in Craddock Road at about 8:35pm.

A press release revealed that he had been shot several times about his body by an unknown assailant(s), as he was about to exit his car when he arrived at his home. He was pronounced dead on the scene and was subsequently transported to the Alexandra Hospital Morgue.

Campbell, 27, was the Federation’s 10th homicide for 2023, but Nevis’ 2nd.
