Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Hazel Laws, has provided information as it relates to COVID-19 and children transmitting the disease:

Schools here in St. Kitts and Nevis were reopened last week after a 5-6 month hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In that regard, Dr. Laws said the closure of schools should be the last option:
