A “Clean-up day” event was held on Saturday Oct. 23rd in the St. Thomas’ Parish and formed part of activities to celebrate Deputy Premier & Area Representative for Nevis #4, Alexis Jeffers’, 10th anniversary in Parliament (the Nevis Island Assembly).
Craddock road, Jessups’, Cotton Ground, Barnes Ghaut and Westbury, each had a bin for the clean-up of white goods.
Mr. Jeffers, who is also the Representative for Nevis #11 (St. James & St. Thomas’ Parishes) in the National Assembly, explained what occurred on Saturday.
