Dr. Laws relayed the comment, derived from a member of the World Health Organization’s Strategic Advisor Group of Experts (WHO-SAGE) Working group, during the Prime Minister’s Monthly Press Conference on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020.

On October 9th 2020, the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis made a down-payment to the COVAX Facility for the procurement of vaccines.
As at Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 the UK has become the first country in the world to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, according to the BBC, paving the way for mass vaccination.
