Thursday evening, July 21^st was official start of the 2022 edition of Nevis Culturama Festival. The launch took place at the Cultural Village, at 7:00pm. During the launch, the Greenhouse Band Junior Kaiso contest also took place

There were 12 competitors and in the end, Princess Navaeh won the Junior Kaiso Crown with her song, “I’m confused” with 248 points.  1^st runner up went to Princess Kali with 234 points with her song “48” and second runner up went to Mighty J who amassed a total of 232 points with “Keep Pushing”.

The Culturama 48 festivities will run until August 2^nd 2022 under the slogan “Fete and Celebrate, Nevis Culturama 48!”

Elsewhere, over the weekend, the following activities will be held as part of C-48 festivities: Empire Sports club aquatic extravaganza tomorrow at 10am, at the Charlestown Waterfront, on Sunday TC&A Culturama Games at the Mondu Track, at 3pm, then later that evening at 7, Republic Bank Mr. Ms. Talented Youth Pageant, at the Cultural Complex.
