The Cyber Security Training Program was officially launched on February 18th, 2025. The program which was led by St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Terrence Drew will equip locals with the skills needed to thrive in the global digital economy.
The program is geared at promoting financial stability, career growth, and national resilience in an era where cybersecurity is more important than ever.
Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, Senior Minister Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas, Hon. Isalean Phillip, Permanent Secretaries and Directors from the Ministries of Education, ICT, and National Security, and senior management of the Step Program were also in attendance.
During the launch, PM Drew was quoted as saying “We are making St. Kitts and Nevis a hub for digital innovation. This initiative will not only create jobs but will make our country stronger, safer and more resilient”.
