The launch of the Nevis Island Administration’s (NIA) Daycare Assistance Subsidy Programme will be held (today) Thursday September 7th.

The programme will provide $300 EC vouchers to persons, to assist with paying for daycare services for their children.

It falls under the purview of the Department of Gender Affairs and will see the Department collaborating with daycare operators, on the island. Interim Director of the Department of Gender Affairs, is Ms. Saros Hendrickson.

The event will be held at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park, at 5pm.
