All civil servants, Government Auxiliary Employees (GAE) or Non Established Workers, Pensioners and STEP workers in St. Kitts and Nevis, will be paid an extra month’s salary, or “double salary”, on Tuesday November 22nd.

This announcement was made at Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew’s, press conference on Tuesday November 15th.

This also comes following a leaked document on social media, indicating that civil servants will be paid the extra month’s salary.

Usually, the double salary is paid in December, just in time for the Christmas season.

Meanwhile, at the forum on Tuesday, PM Drew and his Cabinet colleagues spoke about the work done within their 1st 100 days, since taking office after the August 5th General Elections.
