Drivers on Nevis are urged to drive with additional caution especially when driving in the vicinity of the Bypass Road.

This is due to the commencement of the road rehabilitation work on the road. The Royal Christopher & Nevis Police Force’s Traffic Department issued a statement informing drivers that on entering the segment of road, they should exercise vigilance and be mindful of construction equipment and workers, and to obey the instructions of Flagmen and traffic signs posted along this stretch of road.

The project, which will be headed by Surrey Parving, is expected to see a renovation of the road spanning from the Nevis Water Department on Pump Road to the island’s main road at the Artisan Village in Pinney’s, inclusive of draining and resurfacing work.
