Eighteen Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis honored for completing and graduating from universities in Cuba

 Saturday, October 29th, 2022, saw the recognition of eighteen (18) nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis for the completion of their courses and graduating from their respective universities in Cuba.

 

The acknowledgment took place at the 17th annual Cuban Graduation Ceremony held at the CUNA Conference Center in St. Kitts.

 

In attendance of the special ceremony were: Prime Minister and Minister of Health – Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education – Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley,  Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs – the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Education in the Nevis Island Administration – Hon. Troy Liburd, Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to St. Kitts and Nevis – His Excellency David Rivero Perez and his wife, members of the St. Kitts and Nevis Cuban Alumni Association, representatives from the St. Kitts and Nevis Cuba Friendship Association and past Cuban graduates.
