Eights individuals complete Safe Space Parenting Programme

A total of eight individuals have successfully completed the St. Kitts-Nevis National Council on Drug Abuse Prevention’s Safe Space Parenting Programme.

In its effort to combat drug abuse among the federations’ youth, the initiative sought to equip parents with the necessary parenting skills to raise children to become productive and law-abiding members of society.

The participants were officially given their certificates of completion during a ceremony held at the Tabernacle Community Center on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 in St. Kitts.

This initiative followed a meeting recently held by the St. Kitts-Nevis National Council on Drug Abuse to discuss a five-year plan from 2023-2025 to not only target Drug Abuse in the federation but to also assist in finding ways to decrease violence and criminal activity.
