When will there be action on the ban of single-use plastic?

For several years now, there has been much discussions surrounding this. Calls have been made for more to be done, from key stakeholder groups, Ministers and Department Heads, over the years. In 2020, the Department of Environment submitted a proposal to the Members of Cabinet at that time, to impose a ban on plastics.
