On May 10^th 2022, PM Dr. Timothy Harris dismissed 6 members of his Team Unity-led Federal Cabinet and dissolved parliament, paving the way for the Aug. 5^th general elections.

Over 30 candidates are vying for the 11 seats in the National Assembly, in the upcoming elections including two independents.
