St. Kitts and Nevis has emerged as the leading performer at the Caribbean Investment Summit (CIS) 2026 in Saint Lucia, securing four major awards, including the top honour of “Programme of the Year.” The recognition reflects strong international endorsement of the country’s reformed Citizenship by Investment Programme, which has undergone significant changes over the past two years.
Key reforms include the introduction of advanced biometric systems and enhanced verification procedures, positioning the programme as a regional benchmark for governance and security. The Citizenship Unit also received awards for Sustainable Development Impact, Time to Citizenship Efficiency, won for a second consecutive year, and Caribbean Impact, highlighting its operational strength and regional influence.
Under Executive Chairman H.E. Calvin St. Juste, the programme was restructured into a statutory body to improve oversight, transparency, and compliance standards. The reforms are aimed at strengthening credibility amid increasing global scrutiny of citizenship by investment frameworks.
St. Kitts and Nevis will host the next summit, CIS27, reflecting its growing leadership role in the sector. The summit continues to serve as a platform for advancing regional cooperation, reinforcing international trust, and aligning investment migration programmes with sustainable national development goals.
