Gov. of SKN approves Two Royal Caribbean Vessels for docking at Port Zante

The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has given permission to two vessels from the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line to dock at Port Zante, in St. Kitts.

The two ships – Vision of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas, will dock side by side at Port Zante on Wednesday August 19th , 2020, with 70 crew members on each ship.

The VONNEWSLINE questioned Chair of the Nevis Covid-19 Task Force, Dr. Judy Nisbett, on whether the guests and crew will be subjected to any mandatory quarantine or testing, upon arrival.

If all of the crew members of the vessels test negative, then they will be given the option of integrating into the society, in adherence to the Statutory Rules and Orders that currently govern the Federation during this pandemic.

Each ship will be required to have in place an isolation facility for crew members who test positive for the virus, after 14 days.
