The St. Christopher Air and Seaport Authority (SCASPA) held a grand unveiling ceremony (today), Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 at the Robert L. Bradshaw International (RLB) Airport.

The unveiling was held to celebrate the completion of the RLB Airport’s Apron and Taxiway.

The project was aimed at rectifying severe cracks on the Apron and connecting commercial taxiways, Bravo and Charlie. This newly resurfaced Apron is set to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of the Airport ensuring a smoother experience for partners in the airline industry and passengers.

According to the company responsible for the ongoing work, Kelly Construction, remedial work is still expected to continue at the port including sealing of some parking space and the permanent markings needed. These are expected to be completed in a few weeks in the coming year.
