As the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) continues in its celebrations of 42 years of operation, Head of the Regional Integration and Diasporic Unit (RIDU), His Excellency Larry Vaughn, spoke on the benefits the federation has received due to its membership in the organization.
His Excellency Vaughn said that citizens and residents should not just look at our waters as borders among other Caribbean islands but as a connection between people who originated from the same place and heritage.
He said through the OECS and an elevation in collaboration between its member states, countries could continue to increase rise in their levels of development:
