Nevis’ Premier, Hon. Mark Brantley, will be away on official duties as he is an invited speaker at the Henley & Partners 17th Global Citizenship Conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Premier will be abroad over the period November 7th to 13th 2023. Hon. Eric Evelyn will act as Premier of Nevis during this period.

In other news- The Federal Government hosted the second in its series of community consultations on the 2024 Budget at the Old Road Community Center late last week engaging with the public on policies and programmes they would like to see implemented in the next financial year.

The presenters were: Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency Empowerment on the Sustainable Island State, Nerissa Williams, Statistician within the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Mr. Vanroy Agard, Director of Fiscal Affairs and Policy Unit of the Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Versilie Francis and Economist, Melicia Henry from the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment.
