Senator with responsibility for Social Services and Community Development on Nevis, Hon. Jahnel Nisbett visited the Nevis Flamboyant Nursing Home on January 5th to honour and celebrate milestones of two of their senior citizens.

Ms. Nisbett presented Mr. Bertram Roach with a medal of longevity on behalf of Governor General Sir. S. W. Tapley Seaton. He celebrated his 100 birthday in October 2022.

Ms. Nisbett also joined the celebrations of Ms. Iona Edgins 94th birthday on January 2nd 2023.

In achieving their respective milestones Ms. Nisbett was quoted as saying “may the Lord grant both these worthy souls many more years of health and happiness”.
